Personal Care Assistant Services
Integrity Health Care's trained and dedicated staff are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. We assist with healthcare assessments, obtaining medical insurance, re-certification, locating a clinic for your specific needs and scheduling medical appointments.We have a trained RN on staff to supervise the PCA's, making sure they are providing quality services. An RN supervised visit will be conducted every 30 to 60 days.
PCA Services may include:
- Light House Cleaning
- Preparing a Light Meal
- Light Shopping
- Assistance with Personal Cares
- Mentoring
To qualify for PCA Services you must:
- Have Medical Insurance
- Have a medical condition or illness that prevents you from performing daily cares such as diabetes, Alzheimer's, kidney failure, MS, paraplegia, mental illness, and many more.
Eligibility for Personal Care Assistant services:
- You must be eligible for or receiving Medical Assistance (MA) or Minnesota Care expanded benefits (for pregnant women or children under age 21) or be eligible for the Alternative Care program for qualifying seniors. You may be able to receive PCA services through HMO insurance if that HMO authorizes you to receive services.
- You must have a doctor's order stating that you need PCA services because they are medically necessary.
- You are able to make decisions about your care or have a person or responsible party who can make decisions about your care for you.
How to obtain PCA Services:
A person interested in receiving PCA Services must contact a healthcare agency or your local public health agency. They will make a regular for PCA a assessment, then after, a public health nurse will set up an appointment with you to come to your home to assess yourself for PCA Services. The assessment will determine if you qualify for PCA Services..
